Yes. There is no account and no ads, and everything you record stays on your phone — we never receive it. You can lock the app with a PIN and Face ID or Touch ID.
Is Period Calc free?
Yes. Predictions, the calendar with Hijri dates, your fasting days, trying-to-conceive dates, the prayer & purity guide, reminders and the app lock are free. Premium is an optional subscription for planning ahead.
Which Hijri calendar does it use?
The Umm al-Qura calendar. If the month starts a day earlier or later where you live, you can adjust the Hijri date by one or two days in Settings.
Can I use it to avoid pregnancy?
No. Predictions are estimates based on averages, and cycles change from month to month. Period Calc is not a method of contraception.
Is it available on Android?
Not yet — Period Calc is for iPhone. The free calculators on this website work in any browser, on any phone.
